Who we are
Vulpes Aurora Tours is a family tour company based in Rovaniemi, Finland, operating small-group Northern Lights evenings. For anything related to your personal data, contact us at info@vulpesaurora.com.
What we collect, and why
Booking data. When you book a tour, our booking system collects your name, contact details, the number and ages of guests, your pickup location, and payment confirmation. We use this to provide the tour you booked — the legal basis is the contract between us.
Contact form and messages. When you write to us through the contact form, by email, or on WhatsApp, we receive your name, contact details, and whatever you include in the message. We use this only to answer you — the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry.
Accessibility and dietary needs. If you tell us about mobility, dietary, or other needs so we can prepare properly, we use that information only for your tour and delete it when it is no longer needed.
Booking and payments
Bookings and payments are processed by Bókun, our booking engine, and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card details. Bókun processes your data as described in its own privacy policy.
Cookies
The booking calendar on this website sets cookies that are needed for your reservation and cart to work. Beyond that, this website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

- No one else — we never sell or rent your personal data
How long we keep data
Booking records are kept as long as required by Finnish accounting and tax law. Inquiries and messages are kept only as long as they are useful for helping you, and then deleted.
Photography
Professional photography is part of every evening, and the photos of your group are delivered to you. We never publish photos in which you can be recognized — on this website, social media, or anywhere else — without your consent.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, write to info@vulpesaurora.com.
If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you also have the right to complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
Children
Bookings and any information about children are always provided to us by a parent or guardian, and used only to host their evening properly.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
