Vulpes Aurora Tours is a registered auxiliary business name of Kemin Taksipalvelu Oy, Business ID 0701066-6, Teollisuuskylänraitti 11, 94450 Keminmaa, Finland. Kemin Taksipalvelu Oy is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

What we collect, and why

Booking data. When you book, we receive your name, email address, phone number, the number and ages of guests, your pickup location, and payment confirmation. We use this to provide the tour you booked and to contact you about it, for example to send your approximate pickup time on the morning of the tour or to tell you about a weather cancellation. The legal basis is the contract between us.

Bookings made through other companies. If you book through a travel agency, hotel or online booking site, that company shares the details we need to host your tour with us.

Mobility, health and dietary information. If you tell us about a wheelchair, a medical condition, or dietary needs, we use that information only with your consent, only for your tour, and delete it when it is no longer needed.

Messages. When you contact us by email, WhatsApp or the contact form on our website, we use your details and your message only to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry.

Booking and payments

Bookings and payments are processed by Bókun, our booking system, and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card details. Bókun processes your data as described in its own privacy policy.

Cookies

Our booking calendar, on this website and on our booking pages, uses cookies that are needed for your reservation and cart to work. Our website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

Who we share data with

• Bókun and its payment providers, to process your booking
• The travel agency or booking site you booked through, if any
• Our website hosting provider, which stores our website and its form submissions
• WhatsApp, if you choose to contact us there, under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. This may involve transfers outside the EU.

We never sell or rent your personal data.

How long we keep data

Booking records are kept as long as required by Finnish accounting and tax law. Health, mobility and dietary information is deleted after your tour. Messages are kept only as long as they are useful for helping you, and then deleted.

Photography

Your guide photographs every evening, and the photos of your group are delivered to you. We never publish photos in which you can be recognized, on our website, social media, or anywhere else, without your consent.

Children

Bookings and any information about children are always provided to us by a parent or guardian, and used only to host their evening properly.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To use any of these rights, write to info@vulpesaurora.com.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you have the right to complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will publish the updated version with a new date.
