Terms & Cancellation Policy
These terms apply to all Vulpes Aurora Tours bookings. They are written to be read, not to hide anything — if any part is unclear, ask us before you book.

Booking and payment
Bookings are made through the booking calendar on this website, or directly with us by WhatsApp or email. Current seasonal prices per person are shown on The Evening page and in the booking calendar at the time of booking. Your booking is confirmed once payment is completed through the booking system, or once we confirm it to you directly in writing.
Private tours are priced per vehicle, not per person. Ask us directly for a private tour quote.
Cancellation by you
Cancel more than 24 hours before your tour and you will receive a full refund, no questions asked.
Within 24 hours of the tour start, we cannot offer a refund — a seat held for you is a seat we can no longer offer to anyone else.
If your plans feel uncertain, you can add optional cancellation insurance when you book. It lets you cancel up to five minutes before departure with a full refund.
If the aurora does not appear
We do not offer refunds or compensation tied to the aurora appearing, or to how strong it is. We have never promised you the lights — what your booking pays for is a well-hosted evening in the Arctic night, and that is what we deliver, with or without them.
Weather cancellations by us
If the sky is genuinely closed — no real chance of clear patches anywhere near us — we will tell you honestly and directly before the tour. You will then have a choice: step back from that night with a full refund, or come out with us anyway at your own judgment and risk. We will never cancel quietly and leave you guessing.
Our responsibility to you
The sky is not within our control — but the evening is. If something we are responsible for falls short — the food, the equipment, the comfort, the hosting — tell us, on the night or right after. We will make it right.
Children and safety
Children are welcome on every tour. One parent or guardian must remain with their children at all times during the evening. Please follow your guide's instructions at the site — they are there for your safety and comfort.
Pickup
Pickup and return are included from accommodation in central Rovaniemi and the surrounding area. Exact pickup details are confirmed with your booking.
